SOUTH PYMATUNING TOWNSHIP – The owner of a South Pymatuning Township salvage yard has been jailed for shooting at a repo man, township police said.
Charles L. Raiti, 60, of 2085 Rutledge Road, has been charged with simple assault, reckless endangerment and making terroristic threats, police said.
An employee of Interlink Recovery Services attempted to repossess a vehicle at 10:20 a.m. Monday at Raiti Salvage Yard, 1900 Rutledge Road. Raiti fired a shot at him, police said.
District Judge Brian Arthur arraigned Raiti and committed him to jail for failing to post bond. Arthur set a Sept. 6 preliminary hearing.
