I saw this and thought, what about picking the lock?

That would be a way around this issue.

Does anyone on the forum know how to do it? Have you done it?

I read about it a little on this: https://unitedlocksmith.net/blog/how...o-lock-picking

Mainly I looked at the pictures, but it doesn't seem that hard. And it wouldn't damage the property (i.e. the lock), so I don't see how it would be wrong.

    Thoughts?

Having this problem right now, and I don't want to do it if there is something I am missing.

Haven't thought of repoing a unit at a storage facility, but I would guess in a way it have to be dealt with similar to a secured parking facility. But I do like the idea of renting the cheap unit to gain legal access to the property as for the legality of the actual repo that would be a better question for the LEO's in your area.
