Auto Lending Compliance: Staying Off The Regulators’ Radar Screen
Loeb & Loeb LLP is pleased to host this complimentary CLE program in association with Consolidated Asset Recovery Systems, Inc.

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) has been very active in the short time since its creation and has continued to expand its reach, most recently with new guidelines for auto lenders. Understanding how the CFPB works together with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and state regulators as well as the current regulatory climate is essential for auto finance companies to prepare for increased scrutiny and implement proactive strategies to prevent investigations and penalties. This program will feature recent examples of enforcement actions together with tips for getting ready for regulatory scrutiny, details about each regulator’s focus and "hot-button" issues, and practical advice for building compliance into each phase of the auto lending business.

Presented by Loeb & Loeb’s Michael Mallow and Michael A. Thurman, partners in our Consumer Protection Defense Department and members of our Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Task Force, and in association with Consolidated Asset Recovery Systems, Inc., we invite you to join us in Los Angeles for this complimentary program. Lunch will be served and up to 1.5 hours of California MCLE credit will be available.
