    PHILADELPHIA --

    A man is dead after police say he was shot by another man, who was repossessing a vehicle in the Point Breeze section of Philadelphia.
    It happened Friday morning near the intersection of 18th and Dickinson streets.
    Police tell Action News a worker was in the process of repossessing a vehicle. Police say a man who was armed with a gun tried to stop that from happening.

    The repo man then pulled out a gun and shot the victim twice, hitting him once in the chest and once in the arm. Police say a dog was also hit by gunfire.

    Officers rushed the man who had been shot to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in critical condition. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

    The repo man was being questioned by police. So far there have been no arrests or charges filed. The investigation into the incident continues.

    A man is dead after police say he was shot by a worker who was repossessing a minivan in the Point Breeze section of Philadelphia. It happened Friday morning near the intersection of 18th and Dickinson streets.

    Police tell Action News the worker, commonly known as a repo man, was in the process of repossessing a Toyota minivan.

    A woman who was with the minivan as that was happening called a male friend.Police say that man arrived with a gun and got into a physical altercation with the repo man.

    The worker told police he was pistol-whipped by the male friend. At one point, the worker told police, he heard glass shattering and thought he was being fired upon.

    That's when, police say, the repo man then pulled out a gun and fired several times. The armed man was hit once in the chest and once in the arm. Police say a dog was also hit by gunfire.

    Arriving officers rushed the man who had been shot to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in critical condition. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

    The repo man was held for questioning by police.

    Police told Action News they recovered 19 shell casings at the scene.
    So far there have been no arrests or charges filed. The investigation into the incident continues.

        I know this is relatively old, but I was wondering if there is any update on this case at all? Were there any charges levied against the repo man?

          No suspect or victim names makes it hard to search for updated news for it on the internet.
