  • Where is the auto repossession industry headed in the coming years?

With all the turmoil with repo associations, forwarders, rising gas prices, state regulations, rising insurance costs, I am wondering where you guys see our profession in 5 years? 10 Years? 20?

I think it will get worse, but finally the pendulum will swing in our favor with fair rates and pay for the necesarry job we do.

First of all we need companies to STOP accepting orders for 200 bucks a repo. They are killing the industry. A client that pays that little isnt worth dealing with, and its cancer for the industry.

        Down.

Just like the landscaping, carpet cleaning and granite counter top businesses.

Too many folks doing it for too cheap.

No way it will just rebound back. Regulations or not.

          Complaining

I learned a long long time ago that you should NOT worry about what other companies are doing work for.Instead, contemplate what you need to make a profitable business and concentrate on that. The other will eventually cancel itself out.I see it all the time.Ken
