The deal we worked out for getting paid in advance for the repossessions we were going to do was working out. We were happy we were getting paid on time, but the other repo agents that worked for the old man did not have the same deal. Not only did the owner have a team of disgruntled employees that he owed money to, but he began neglecting his repossession business. He was up in age and his health was deteriorating quickly. He was going for medical treatments several times a week and did not have anyone to run his office. His clients were constantly calling and there was no one in the office to answer the phone. His son had worked for him previously and we figured he might want to take over. We suggested he hire his son to manage the place and the old man sent us to talk to him.
