A Rockville man faces assault and gun charges after he pulled a handgun on people who were trying to repossess his car in Frederick, according to the Frederick County Sheriff's Office.William Charles Bevan, Jr., 55, of the 11200 block of Empire Lane, is charged with first- and second-degree assault, use of a firearm in a violent crime, use of a dangerous weapon with intent to injure, carrying a handgun and reckless endangerment.
Three people were hooking the vehicle up to a tow truck early today in front of a home in the 5700 block of Trailview Court when Bevan came out of the house and threatened them with a handgun, Capt. Tim Clarke said.
The three ran away and called 911.
Deputies made contact with Bevan. During their investigation, they found a .45 caliber handgun under the driver's seat of another vehicle parked at the residence, Clarke said.
Deputies arrested Bevan and took him to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center, where he was released after posting $250,000 bail.

How can you post a $250,000 bail the same day you're arrested and not make your car payment?

funny how that works isnt it? there seems to be a difference in need and want.....he felt he didnt "need" to make his car payment....hence the reason he pulls a gun on the guys.....but all of the sudden, he is able to make bail.....meaning he had the ability to make his payment, he just didn't want to....its funny how people "with no money" seem to pull alot of money out of their *** on a moments notice when they really "need" to....

Might have been a 10% deal or he put property up, or both. Of course, family could have helped out once in jail.
